How LB works
Items are made fro unwanted or 2nd hand textiles meaning that most pieces are one-offs or limited editon
New items are released in ‘drops’ every month or two
Items often sell out within the first few days of being dropped
Those signed up to the newsletter get 1 hour of priority access when drops launch
How long will my item take to arrive?
If your item is made to order it will take 3-4 weeks to be made
If your item is premade it will take 1 week to arrive
If you need your item for a certain date, leave a note with your order
How will my item be posted?
Your item will be send with Royal Mail (UK) and Parcel Force outside of the UK
Items over the value of £80 will be send via Royal Mail Special Delivery
Items under the value of £80 will be send Royal Mail First Class Sign For
What happens if my item is lost in the post?
If your item is lost because you have entered the address incorrectly, your item cannot be refunded
If your item has been lost due to a fault with the courier losing the package, you will get a full refund
Returns and refunds
If your item is premade, yes it can be returned and refunded up 14 days of it arriving as long as it remains unworn
The postage label to return it is not included by LB and is the customers cost
If your item has been made to order, then it is not refundable. Customers being happy with their purchases is extremely important and allowances can be made. Please contact info@lydiabolton.co.uk if you need to discuss this.
If your item was made to order and does not fit, free adjustments can be made to ensure you are happy with the fit
Free repairs on all LB pieces
Clothes are made to be worn so we expect wear and tear to happen
All items purchased directly from LB come with free repairs
Post your item back to LB and it will be repaired within 2-3 weeks and posted back free of charge.
The postage to LB is at the customers cost or can be dropped off.

Workshop FAQ’s
Hosting your own workshop
Do you have a group of friends and want to host an upcycling workshop?
Workshops could be for birthday or hen parties, a creative evening, upskilling and learning how to upcycle
The workshop can be at a location of your choice or in Lydia’s studio
Lydia’s studio can host 5- 8 ppl in her Hackney Wick studio
Workshops can be organised for up to 20 people
If you’d like a location of your choice, this may be an additional cost to cover the venue
All materials and equipment for the workshop will be brought by Lydia
Workshops will be customised depending on your vision and the groups needs and abilities

Workshops for Schools
Lydia can give workshops on location for schools and communities
Depending on age and experience, Lydia will tailor the workshop to suit the needs
All materials and equipment need for the workshop will be provided
Workshops with over 10 attendees run best with a TA or assistant to help

Corporate workshops
Corporate workshops can be run for your customers or employees
Employee workshops provide team building between colleges and allow for the chance to connect over a creative task
The type of workshop will be tailored to you depending on what you’re looking for which we can identify through emails or a consultation call
The workshop can be hosted in your offices and all equipment for the workshop will be provided
Customer workshops provide the ability to build customer engagement and connection.
Customer workshops will be customised depending on what you’re looking for and if you have unwanted textiles you want to be incorporated into the workshop.
